Stratosphere International
Corporation Company Profile
|
Stratosphere International Corporation is a
relatively new company. Its principals, Carmem Pettena
has been involved in sales and promotions for over 12
years. Having identified a marketing opportunity within
South America and, in particular, Brazil the company was
founded in 2002. |
| Its
primary focus is to develop sales, for the companies it
represents, to Governments and armed forces in Brazil and
throughout South America. Additionally Stratosphere
International has contacts at the highest levels of the
Brazilian Government. Stratosphere has been asked to organize
events such as the September 7 th celebration (Brazilian
Independence day) in the capital city, Brasilia.
In the past Brazil has been poorly served by Agents
representing overseas companies. Carmem Pettena, the President
of Stratosphere International, became involved in sales to
elements of the Brazilian armed forces when contacts she had
developed asked her to help improve the poor service received.
In many cases the wrong equipment had been specified or
equipment of inferior quality was being provided. Carmem used
her contacts to bring manufacturers of quality equipment to
Brazil to demonstrate their products.

It is Stratosphere International's intention to raise the
level of support and provide access to the highest levels of
the armed forces and Government departments for the companies
it represents. We aim to complete this task, whilst at the
same time representing quality companies who produce quality
products, and therefore increase customer satisfaction within
Brazil.
The organizing of this Symposium allows Stratosphere
International to invite Companies to Brazil to meet with the
highest level decision makers. The contacts made at the
Symposium will translate into sales in the future. It will
enable companies to make contacts that could only happen after
multiple visits over many years under normal circumstances.
Additionally, another important aspect of organising this
event is to allow the decision makers in the Special Forces to
have access to the latest equipment and listen to the latest
techniques. It would otherwise be cost prohibitive for the
officers to travel overseas to obtain the information
available at the Symposium.
